Dalia Milmantas, Principal of the firm, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philology and Education. She has acquired extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Canadian immigration law through her employment with two prominent Toronto law firms as an immigration legal assistant/law clerk, and subsequently through the operation of her own immigration practice. She meets the stringent educational and professional requirements of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and is a member in good standing of both the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC).
Ms. Milmantas has been assisting clients in Canadian immigration matters since 1999 and specializes in strategic case planning for applicants whose circumstances do not lend themselves to straightforward immigration pathways. She represents and advocates for clients in applications for temporary and permanent resident status, study permits, and work permits, including matters involving prior refusals, as well as complex applications such as criminal rehabilitation and Temporary Resident Permits.
With many years of experience in the field, Ms. Milmantas is also committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of immigration professionals. She has taught Canadian immigration law within the Immigration Consultant program at CDI College, has been a regular presenter at seminars and workshops for continuing professional development providers, and has served as a recurring panellist for the Right to Entry Practice Exam preparation course offered by CAPIC. She currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law (GDipICL) program at the Faculty of Law, Queen’s University.
Ms. Milmantas is proficient in Lithuanian, English, and Russian.
