Initial Consultation Agreement

The Initial Consultation Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of the initial consultation between Milmantas Immigration Services, and particularly Dalia Milmantas, RCIC # R415687 (“we” or “us”), and the undersigned prospective client(s) (“you”).

The purpose of the initial consultation is for us to learn about you and your particular immigration needs based on the information you provide; to answer your questions to the best of our ability; to identify your options and, to the extent possible, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives; to help you determine your course of action, if any; to discuss our fees and terms of representation if a consultant-client relationship is to be established after  the meeting; and to determine the next steps in the process, as appropriate.

Our fee of CDN $250.00, inclusive of HST for applicants in Canada, is payable prior to the commencement of the consultation via e-transfer at info@milmantasimmigration.com from a Canadian bank, via PayPal, or any other payment method as indicated above.  The payment is to be received at least 24 hours before the suggested consultation time.  If you further retain our services for full representation of your immigration matter within 10 calendar days after the meeting, the fee will be credited to your final legal fee and a new retainer agreement will be signed.

To cancel or reschedule your consultation, please contact us via email at info@milmantasimmigration.com at least 24 hours (EST) prior to your scheduled appointment.  The fee for a missed appointment will not be refunded.  You may also reschedule your consultation at no cost two times. The consultation will be conducted via online communication means, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

All information and documentation that you provide to us shall remain strictly confidential, except as authorized by you or otherwise required by law.

The advice provided during this consultation does not constitute a continuing client/counsel relationship or for Ms. Milmantas to act as my Authorized Representative in any immigration or immigration-related matters.  The advice provided is valid at the time it is given and is based on the information provided by me.

By signing the agreement and by remitting payment through one of the above payment methods, I agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth in this Initial Consultation Agreement.
